Worship

At Grace-Midtown Church our purpose is to get close to God and take the good news of Jesus into every aspect of our lives in the city. One of the ways we draw near to God is through our worship.

David said it like this in Psalm 27:4

“One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that i may dwell in the house of Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.”

Our goal in our worship at Grace-Midtown Church is to encounter the living God and to bless Him for everything he has done for us.

Vision:

-To see a community of people encounter God and cultivate a deep, lasting, intimate relationship with Him

-To raise up a culture of leaders whose heart is for God, whose purpose is to expand His kingdom,  and whose lifestyle exemplifies one worth following.

- To encourage creative community.

God is the master creator and His Spirit lives in us!

Your art, whether it be a song, painting or other expression, has the potential to reveal a new facet of God that we have never experienced before. The gifting that you have is unique and you owe it to the world to express it!

Expectations:

-If you have the desire to lead, you are expected to serve. If you have agreed to serve, you have agreed to live an accountable lifestyle to those around you

On Stage:

-We believe that our worship on stage is and should be an overflow of our intimacy with God off stage.

-We believe that our anointing and approval from God does not rest solely on our musical ability.

-We believe that we should give our best at all times regardless of others mediocrity.
