In chapter 5 of Ecclesiastes we are told to “fear God” or revere Him in His greatness.
Ecclesiastes 6:10 & 7:13 describe God’s greatness, “consider the work of God, for who is able to straighten what He has bent?” and, “no man can contend with One who is stronger than he.”
What lies at the core of our God’s immutable nature? Above all else, what should we reverence most about our Great God?

How many Christ followers want to have a great impact, yet can not seem to get past themselves? How many have huge dreams of changing the world, but are trapped in the prison of their own pride or insecurity? Last week, Matt opened up a study on the book of Ephesians, exploring how we are to live in our true, God-given identities. This Sunday, I’m excited to build off last week’s teaching, as we consider how to live a life full of “identity encounters.” Being sure of our identity in Christ is so central to living a fruitful Kingdom life that we are going to spend this week continuing to explore that question: “Who am I?” Hearing God’s answer to this question brings the power we need to overcome the obstacles in the way of the great impact God has called us to have.
