Jo Saxton :: Jan 8, 2012
Sunday night, we had a guest speaker, Jo Saxton, at both the evening gatherings. Jo is an amazing and powerful woman in ministry who came into the Kingdom because of a house church community. As a result, she followed God into ministry and has lived her life training and equipping other leaders to live missionally. Don’t miss this special night to hear her story and learn how we can bring the Kingdom through communities on mission. Enjoy the recording from the 8pm service.

Matt Reynolds :: Celebration :: 11.13.11
As a community we have reached the point of decision. We have prayed and sought the Lord about what it means for each of us, individually, to consecrate ourselves and offer our financial gifts, sacrificially, to the Lord.
This Sunday, we come together as one body, united by one faith in the plans Jesus has for us, we come to celebrate. We want to say as David and the community of Israel said before they built the Temple. “Who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.”

What it would be like if we were a people who sought to serve the city, not just use the city? Can we learn to spend our lives,to give our lives away for the sake of another? As a community on mission, we’ve seen incredible transformation, but all we’ve seen is really only the beginning.

Matt Reynolds :: Communities on Mission :: 09.18.11
We are rediscovering the biblical church, primarily in the book of Acts. As we have look at the church’s call to be on mission with God, we can’t forget the church is also called to be in communion or covenant with God and one another. Most of us are even more comfortable with one over the other, but what would it look like if we were radically committed to covenant community and kingdom mission with God?
What would it look like if the whole church was release as “communities on mission”? The New Testament gives us a clear model of what this can and should look like. Quite frankly, it’s really amazing. And it changes everything, but it is up to you to embrace what is possible.

Matt Reynolds :: The Search for Meaning: Am I Alone? :: 09.26.10
Have you ever felt totally alone on the planet? Distant, detached, isolated from anyone and everyone? Have you ever felt all alone because it seemed like God was totally distant?
In Ecclesiastes chapter 4, Solomon explores three different ways to view how other people being in our lives affects our lives. One man chose to live alone, while another man had a companion or two to journey with, and lastly two different kings sit on the throne with different opinions on the importance of those around them. The common thread that runs through all of these stories is ultimately our commitment to community.
